Our Swim Team

Rebekah Andrews

My name is Rebekah Andrews and I am Jersey born. I had an idyllic childhood growing up here in our sunny island with many carefree days spent on the beach. This is where I first gained a love for the water and swimming. Being an island and surrounded by water makes swimming a key life skill for any child in Jersey. Having children myself I know the importance parents place on making sure their children are safe in the water.

I have taught swimming for the past 20 years in Jersey and abroad. I swam competitively when I was younger at both club and national level. I teach all ages and abilities and I am a friendly outgoing person who loves children. I get a lot of satisfaction teaching both children and adults to swim. Here at Les Ormes Resort, we offer a variety of learn to swim packages available to both locals and holidaymakers.

Abbie Jandron

My name is Abbie Jandron and I was born and brought up in Jersey.  Living in the Island I started swimming lessons at the age of 6 months and have enjoyed being in the water, whether the sea or pool, ever since.  I have taken part in Regional and National Lifesaving Competitions as part of the Jersey Aquatic Rescue Club which I joined at the age of 8 years, carrying it through until I was 19 years. Following the natural progression of becoming a Pool Lifeguard I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to teach Lifesaving to the Club's Rookies which helped me develop my passion for teaching. As a result I gained my STA Level 2 Award in 2013 and have been enjoying teaching ever since.
